 Welcome Minimize

This site supports our HVAC business, based in Algonquin, Illinois, a far Northwest Chicago suburb. I hope to hear from you soon!  The business is operated by Adam Schleiffer. There is a "silent" partner, who is occasionally on the job, but whose real role is to help establish the "business" part of the business. That partner is my father, Scott.

Sincerely, Adam Schleiffer

Fall Heating Clean and Check Minimize

Each year you really need to give your forced air furnace a "clean and check." This means some parts are cleaned to ensure proper combustion and safety; other parts are checked to ensure reliable operation through the winter heating season.

This includes:

  • Cleaning the pilot assembly and the burner
  • Adjust the burner for efficiency
  • Checking the flue pipe and draft
  • Checking the filter (this needs to be done more often, but I always check it as part of this service)
  • Check the fan and safety controls
  • Check the fan belt
  • Lubricate moving parts
  • Check Thermostat Control

The price for this preventive maintenance service is $69.95. If your furnace is located in the attic or a crawlspace, the price is $89.95. Out of respect for my elders, I am happy to discount 20% to seniors. If you need a new filter, the filter is extra.
